“Excellent meal and excellent service. Staff went the extra mile. So many things were done that other restaurants don’t bother doing- polishing the silver and glasses, providing a carafe for wine, tongs for salad we shared and withe two-sided plates and fresh cutlery after our appetizer.
We were never hurried. The wait staff even provided some ice in a plastic bag for my bee sting swollen hand (not their bees as I am sure they don’t sting).

“We had a lovely Valentine’s lunch at Olivea yesterday. Everything was lovely, including our server. Food and wine were delicious. We especially enjoyed the bread with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
After lunch, I immediately went across the street to Kingston Olive Oil Co. and purchased both.
The bread was so light and airy. I was wondering if there is a name for it. I would like to try and duplicate it at home.

“We had dinner at Olivea on Friday night, my first time visiting. It was excellent. The food was delicious – all of it. The service was so very good. I’m sorry I can’t remember the name of the woman who served us, but she was a true professional. She cared about our experience, was incredibly attentive and personable. The young man who helped us with Parmesan and pepper was kind and helpful, the staff that greeted us at the door, the people who brought our food, everyone was helpful and kind.
Our dinner felt like how dining out felt before COVID. It was welcoming and relaxed. I’ve missed that.
