Olivea is a family-run traditional Italian trattoria. We are Stev George and Deanna Harrington, both trained chefs; and with the help of our three children Olivia, Harry and Bella (who you will often see polishing cutlery or clearing tables), we work together to create a warm and welcoming restaurant for you.
We are known for our fresh pasta and gnocchi which we make in house. All our sauces and ragus are made with love. We serve fantastic antipasti boards with local salami and cheeses, calamari fritti, arancine, panelle, wonderful salads using fresh local ingredients, steaks from Enright Cattle Co., fresh seafood (come to our Lobster Fest on Wednesdays in the summer) and house made desserts.
Olivea has a casual, urban atmosphere and open concept style. The dining room features a private room which seats groups up to 30. From May to October our street side patio on Kingston's Market Square is a perfect spot for eating, drinking and people-watching. A little taste of Italy in historic downtown Kingston!
